📱 The outer ring: Afterstars: Outpost

Not everyone in the universe is a commander. On the edge of every system there are outposts: one small colony each, holding on. Afterstars: Outpost is the free phone game about being one of them — build in real time, come back to collect, weather the flares, raise a dome, trade with four rivals and repel their raids, escort or raid the convoy. The elections and resolutions you vote on here reach an outpost as news. At era 40 its universe collapses too; a seat on the Rift Engine was taken by a commander — not by it.

Log in on the Cloud tab here with the same username and password as on the phone and the two know each other: the outpost's titles (Dome-Keeper, Wall-Holder, Lane-Warden…) appear under Your outpost on the Cloud tab, and you become its patron — it receives ✦1 an era in your name.
• The outpost runs on this game's tables and uses this game's building models, so what it builds is what you build; it simply has fewer of them (18 of the kit) and none of the politics, the neighbourhood or the Rift.
