📖 Welcome to the Codex

The Codex is the game's encyclopedia. It has three parts:

• Guide — how Afterstars works, from your first building to the end of the universe.
• Science — the real physics behind the game: stars, light-years, time dilation, Dyson spheres, the fate of the universe.
• Showroom — every building, ship, robot, vehicle and resource in 3D, with its numbers.

Every item in the showroom tells you how real it is:

• ✓ Real today
• ◐ Possible in theory
• ✦ Science fiction

Afterstars is fiction, but it is built on real science wherever it can be. Start with the story or how stars shine.
